Relaxing base for 2 nights. Large hotel units with coffee, a lovely modern decor, as for instance. Newly renovated design. Pleasant staff; smooth check in.

The room was very cosy, comfortable bed. An electric kettle, central heating, and a TV set turned out to be good. The location was perfect, just off city centre, the pub downstairs and a rail.

I had lovely pastries and fruit in the morning. Everyone was excellent friendly as well as owner.

Accommodating staff and incredibly beautiful place. Freshly decorated and brand-new units with coffee and tea plus a lovely modern decor. A good choice of reasonably priced food at breakfast time. Amazing lovely location, very close to bus stop. Also - near to other pubs as well as the bus route into York. Great way to end our weekend.

We had an enjoyable stay in this beautiful hotel. The location was marvellous, near to the bus route into York, a lovely village, and bars and easily accessible. Also, Kelham Island Industrial Museum was situated at a short distance from this property. Had warm drinks in the beer bar.

The staff was pleasant, I will never forget them. The double room I was given was complete with coffee, tea, for instance.

Perfect location and lovely friendly staff were a definite plus. Café Carmelite Cafe located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Overall it was big, with a private bathroom.

Generally everything was lovely. Pastries and fruit was a bonus. The decor of the brand-new room was lovely and it was great-sized too. The location was excellent in the beautiful area.
